Testing and strengthening retail security and emergency response across Westfield centres

Westfield needed to ensure that, across its major retail centres, both internal teams and external agencies are aligned in their response to severe security incidents. Emcorp developed a multi-site programme including procedures, staff and management training, and site drills.

We also designed a high-risk testing program mandated by government agencies for ‘black level’ centres – simulating severe security scenarios to test the integration between retail management and government response services. All emergency actions and training outcomes are supported through online record-keeping to ensure visibility, compliance and continuous improvement across the estate.
